It was for this reason that the accommodation department decided to look for software that would streamline its processes and make dealing with both student accommodation and conference bookings simpler.

To select the right software supplier, Lancaster University underwent a formal ITT exercise with thorough specifications documentation, full tender assessment, series of product demonstrations and several reference site visits. The final decision to select the Kx Solution from Kinetic was made in late August 2007.
